Here are the results of my 2008 winter camp. We again went out to the beautiful Yosemite and it was great.... Take a look at Google Maps view of the camp site. A special thanks to Forrest , a friend from work, we had some better winter tents for the scouts... but as always we try to spend the night in snow caves or igloos, and this year was no exception. We built one Igloo and one Quince, which ends up looking like an Igloo, but is built like a snow cave.

This will be my 13th year taking youth out on a winter high adventure. Some years we have 20 boys, and some years just a few... Some years we are in Snow caves and Igloos, and some we are in tents... but these trips always generate memories to last a life time.

Here is where we went this year... Started in Badger Pass Ski resort in Yosemite, and skied down the Glacier point road to the Dewey Point trail. We camped out about 2.5 miles from the cars...
